NECP Payment Terms and Conditions
North East Child Psychiatry Ltd
Registered company number: 13129649
Payment terms
Your invoice will be sent on the last working day of the week, following an appointment or piece of work being completed.
All invoices must be settled within 14 days of the invoice date.
When you complete and sign the ‘NECP consent form’ you are deemed to have accepted these costs and payment terms and conditions.
Payment methods
NECP ask all parents / carers (or others who pay invoices) to register with us for a Direct Debit via GoCardless. This is a safe, secure and convenient method of paying. You will always be notified in advance of any payment to be collected.
The invoice can be paid via direct debit (preferred), also direct bank transfer, cheque or cash. Details will be provided within the invoice. We are unable to take card payments at this time.
Late payment penalties
If an invoice remains unpaid after 14 days NECP has a clear process for chasing up overdue invoices.
Once 14 days have passed and after 7 days an email reminder will be sent. If the invoice is still not paid after a further 7 days then a telephone call reminder will be made.
If invoices remain unpaid and we have not agreed a payment schedule:
- We reserve the right to charge interest on late paid invoices at the rate of 5% per day, under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
- We also reserve the right to suspend our services on giving written notice if payment is unduly delayed, i.e. future appointments / sessions will not be arranged.
- We will refer any outstanding invoice to HM Courts and Tribunals Service to make a ‘Civil Money Claim’ (start legal proceedings) to receive the amount owed.
We intend to exercise these rights only where it is fair and reasonable to do so.
Medical health insurance companies
Dr Gilder is not currently registered with any of the insurance companies so North East Child Psychiatry is only able to accept self-funding patients.
