Paul Gilder has been a Director of North East Child Psychiatry since our launch in autumn 2020, joining Dr Gilder as Practice and Administration Manager on a full-time basis in January, 2026.

Paul is a highly-skilled professional, who has years of training and experience in journalism and marketing. He worked as a daily newspaper journalist for over a decade, before becoming a specialist in digital marketing, website and social media management.

Paul’s most recent role was as Media Manager of an ethical, award-winning food company, a position that required business management, administrative and strategic support.

Paul has numerous qualifications in media and communications and, in December 2025, gained his latest certification in multi-channel marketing. He has managed the NECP website and social media channels since day one.

Passionate about both physical and mental health, Paul is also a qualified fitness instructor and personal trainer. He is looking forward to continuing to support Dr Gilder and her work in his new role at NECP.
